A 6′8″ right-hander out of Cal Lutheran, Jason was drafted by the Houston Astros in the second round of the 2003 MLB Draft. He was named Texas League Pitcher of the Year in 2005 and Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year in 2006, then pitched in the big leagues for the Astros and Colorado Rockies, including the Rockies’ 2007 World Series team.
Today he’s the head baseball coach at Mullen High School and owner of FAST Performance, where he’s trained hundreds of Colorado pitchers since 2013. His lessons pair what he learned in pro ball with modern tools like Trackman — so every pitcher leaves knowing exactly what to work on next.
